PRAYER

Pray is foundational and essential for believers. We are commanded to pray. After being asked, Jesus outlined for His followers the essential aspects of prayer. Through prayer, we commune with God and deepen our relationship. In His presence, we can unburden ourselves of those things would weigh us down.  It is also special because prayer is a dialogue, not a monologue. God communicates with us as we fellowship with Him. Intercession is a privilege. It is an honor to be able to bring other people, other issues, problems and needs to the Lord. One aspect of prayer is intercessory prayer.
