Ron Botha is an anointed apostle serving currently in Iceland. He and his wife Anne have been in pastoral ministry for 34 years. In his early years of ministry, Ron served under the auspices of the South African Baptist Union. After serving the SABU for several years, in 1997 Ron was led to step out and plant a nondenominational church. In September of that same year he joined Kingdom Ministries International (KMI), a network of ministry leaders led by its founding apostle, Alfie Fabe. Ron faithfully served in KMI and eventually on the board of elders for 4 years. Recognizing the apostolic grace on Ron’s life, Alfie Fabe named him as his successor as Director of KMI in 2003.
Ron served as director of KMI for the next five years. While in the position, Ron travelled to various nations as part of his apostolic mandate. In 2004, he visited Iceland for the first time together with his wife and two other ministers. Whilst there, Ron and Anne felt the Lord speaking to them about eventually relocating to Iceland. After numerous apostolic trips to Iceland, Ron stepped down as director of KMI and started preparing himself for the next phase of ministry. Ron and Anne, with their kids, answered the call to serve in ministry in Iceland in August 2009.
For the next seven years, they pastored a church in the heart of Iceland before sensing the apostolic call to embark on something that could help prepare the nation for an end time revival. During that same time, they also were ministering to a group of leaders in Germany which resulted in two churches being planted in the city of Herne.
Today, Ron and Anne lead a prayer movement focused on raising intercessory teams in every town in the nation that are committed to pray for the transformation of Iceland. Ron feels God’s mandate upon him to reach further into Europe with the love and truth of the gospel.
